As a Server at Cape Charles Distillery (CCD), you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience to patrons enjoying our crafted spirits and delicious food offerings. You will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable visit to our distillery. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing information about the distillery's offerings and menu options. Address customer inquiries, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive and memorable dining experience. Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring that all special requests or dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen and bar staff. Food and Beverage Service: Deliver food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards. Be knowledgeable about the distillery's products and be prepared to answer questions or make suggestions. Upselling: Promote special items, new releases, and distillery merchandise to enhance the overall customer experience and increase sales. Table Maintenance: Set up, clear, and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean and inviting environment for guests. Monitor and restock condiments and supplies as required. Payment Handling: Accurately process customer payments, including cash and credit card transactions, and return change as necessary. Ensure the accuracy of the check and provide receipts to customers. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and policies. Follow responsible alcohol service protocols and ensure that customers are of legal drinking age.
