This is a very busy pub and you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be friendly, helpful, approachable, and like working with the public. Need to be able to handle a high number of customers during your shift. Able to multi-task, handle high stress, problem solver, and be quick on your feet. As a server, you will be required to learn the menu, greet guests, take food and beverage orders, place orders, and deliver the food in a timely manner. You may also greet and seat the guests, and bring them drinks, menus, utensils, napkins, etc. You will also be clearing the dirty dishes and linens, getting them to the kitchen, resetting the table, and cleaning the floors as needed. We work as a team and you will be responsible to complete any additional tasks as requested by management. Working the bar involves keeping the station clean, sanitary and well stocked. You will need to ensure items are restocked as needed. You will be helping prepare drinks, tend the bar, and process the payment. Knowledge of American currency and handling credit card transactions. Ability to lift up to 20lbs (11kg). Your shift may not be the same as your friends. You may not have the same days off as your friends. You will be required to be available to work all weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) plus holidays.
