The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining our daily breakfast service. The Breakfast Attendant will maintain a tidy and attractive spread of breakfast items, keeping these items well stocked, as well as cleaning the dining/café area and kitchen each morning. - Operation of breakfast service in accordance with procedural guidelines. - Maintain a full and attractive display of food, coffee, etc. during breakfast hours. Order and stock food service products weekly. - Prepare breakfast food. - Light cleaning, washing and drying dishes and utensils, putting away dishes and utensils, wiping down tables, sweeping, etc., during hours of operation. - Maintain food, utensils, and kitchen inventory as needed. - Maintain proper storage of food. - Daily deep cleaning of kitchen and dining/café areas after close of breakfast. - Defrost refrigerator as needed. - Act as a representative of HI-USA and its goals in a positive and professional manner. - Make guests feel welcome and provide friendly and excellent service. - Deal with difficult situations calmly and professionally. - Follow procedures in response to emergencies and act quickly to resolve timesensitive issues. - Other duties assigned by hostel management staff.

ATTENDANT

Responsible for overseeing a territory / premises / enterprise / facility. You must provide information to customers, make reservations, collect fees for services provided, monitor compliance with the rules. The direct interaction with the local customers will help you evolve in your knowledge of English, will give you the opportunity to meet many people from various locations, states, and of course to make friends, which will give you an unforgettable experience.
