Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, the Buffet Runner is responsible for primary setup, maintaining and breaking down the buffet area. This includes assisting servers, cooks and other employees as needed. As the primary contact between the customers and the restaurant, they are expected to be friendly and engaging when interacting with guests to project a positive image of the company while providing top quality service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Maintain a clean and presentable uniform. - Work together as a team. - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures. - Carry hot/cold food from kitchen area into buffet area and place safely in its correct place. - Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor. - Serve or assists diners to serve themselves at buffet.

SERVER ASSISTANT

The Server Assistant’s responsibilities include preparing and refilling beverages, assisting Servers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus. You should also be able to perform end-of-day clean-up duties.
