J-1 BAR HELPER - BEVERAGE - Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures. To assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in performance of their duties Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment Maintain and organized bar Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services. Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner. Ability to interact with the public and provide excellent customer service. Ability to have and make conversation Know guidelines for serving alcohol with care. Knowing and conveying hotel activities to guests Perform specific tasks related to bars as assigned: organizing, ordering, stocking and cleaning Ability to lift and carrying product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucks Maintain and organize bars and storerooms Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals Ability to operate a glassware washing machine Ability to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines Knowledge of product Ability to operate a glassware washer Answering phones Maintain proper inventory of product Maintain and neat, professional image and appearance at all times All other duties as assigned

Responsibilities include being able to: communicate with customers, correctly ID customers, have knowledge of the various venues, make change for customers, and responsibly serve alcoholic beverages and other items. An outgoing personality and a positive attitude are required. Must be 21+
