You will be working with guests and operating rides at the various amusement park rides. Must handle guest services and satisfaction with a positive attitude, understanding and compassion in a friendly and helpful way. Must like dealing with people and be friendly and have an outgoing personality. Requires attention to detail, punctuality, and a great service attitude & team spirit. Follow all safety policies, interact positively with the guests and other crew members. You will be standing the entire shift and requires moderate lifting and mobility. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting guests during the loading and unloading process and ensuring guest safety by checking their seat belts or lap bars, etc. You will be working outside in the hot summer sun and be exposed to various weather conditions. Must have a great team attitude, and be a dependable, hard working, friendly and very trustworthy and honest individual. You may be cross trained in other areas to assist as needed. Position is for a minimum of 32 hrs per week (unless there is extreme weather causing the Park to close). At times there may be the option to work more than 40 hrs/week, but ALL hours are paid at the regular rate - no overtime is available in the Park.

RIDE ATTENDANT

Directs patrons of amusement park in getting on and off riding device: Erects barrier in front of ride, admitting only as many persons to loading platform as can be seated on ride. Keeps order among patrons waiting to ride device. Fastens patrons’ safety belts or bars to prevent injuries during ride. Assists children and elderly patrons from ride. Directs patrons from unloading platform to park grounds. May also space rides operated in cars or sections to avoid danger of collisions. May also collect tickets or cash fares. May also clean and polish equipment and perform other minor maintenance work, for example replacing light bulbs.
