This position is responsible for cleaning hotel rooms and/or lodges, as well as areas of the hotel and lodges to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Essential Functions: 1. Maintain a customer-friendly and helpful disposition toward internal and external customers. 2. Fulfill the essential functions of a Housekeeper to Land’s End cleaning Standards. 3. Strip and remove dirty linens to collection points, after each guest stay and Remove waste to dumpsters. 4. Vacuum; dust, mop, and perform other general cleaning duties as assigned. 5. Disinfect bathroom fixtures and counters, including mirrors, tubs, sinks, and showers. 6. Re-stock room and kitchen amenities. 7. Re-make beds and restore lodges according to manager standards. 8. Wash accessible windows inside and out: a. Note: Housekeepers do not climb on ladders or chairs. 9. Re-stock cleaning caddies in unit as needed and take inventory to give a report back to manager. Special detailing includes: a. Wipe down deck furniture without rearranging furniture. b. Dust counters, baseboards, windowsills, furniture, picture frames, plants, etc. c. Move furniture to vacuum under it. d. Clean kitchen area and appliances, including TV, radio, microwave, refrigerators. e. Check that the TV, fireplace, radio, and lights work. Clean & disinfect TV remotes. f. Set up any extra beds, towels, or other requests. g. Assist manager with other cleaning functions as assigned.

Housekeepers handle light cleaning needed for the upkeep of homes as well as commercial buildings, such as offices, hotels, and hospitals. Typically they'll replace bedding, clean rooms, halls and bathrooms, vacuum, sweep, mop, replace toiletries and make beds.
