Front of house staff may perform such duties as busing and cleaning tables delivering food and accommodating the guests in the restaurant as well as stocking bar food, runner for bar cleaning front of house including polishing silverware, glassware, and general duties all front of house employees have(everyone works together and had their own “side work” in this industry)depending on each position., exceptional and experienced employees also may be servers tasking orders and delivering food as well as transfer on money credit card exchanges and general waitstaff duties.

RESTAURANT TEAM MEMBER

The typical restaurant crew member completes a variety of food preparation, customer transaction and sanitation jobs. A main responsibility during the shift is to take customer orders and process payments. They may also work on preparing and expediting food orders. In between customers, crew members perform cleaning duties, such as clearing tables and sanitizing food preparation areas.
