They monitor open dining areas, manage waitlists and reservations, escort guests to their tables, and ensure comfort while guests wait. Additional duties include answering phones, providing wait time estimates, updating seating charts, and assisting the wait staff when needed.

RESTAURANT TEAM MEMBER

The typical restaurant crew member completes a variety of food preparation, customer transaction and sanitation jobs. A main responsibility during the shift is to take customer orders and process payments. They may also work on preparing and expediting food orders.
