As a kitchen team member, you'll assist cooks in safely preparing food according to hotel recipes and standards. You'll read and follow menus, forecasts, and recipes to support food production in your assigned area. Responsibilities include ensuring your station is stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment, properly storing and labeling food to prevent spoilage, and assisting with special guest requests. You’ll also participate in food prep and presentation alongside cooks, helping with items like soups, salads, sauces, and entrees. Knowledge of the menu and standard recipes is essential to support kitchen efficiency and guest satisfaction.
The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
